Volunteering with Access Life America has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The motivation to get involved was the organization’s noble mission. The constant effort by its leadership and likeminded team members to maintain absolute transparency of financials and logistics, make the involvement really gratifying.
The children and their families who come to the Access Life Centers are battling on both physical and emotional fronts. However, their resilience to fight the disease, the show of positivity, and the smiles on their faces are the biggest testament to the immaculate maintenance of the housing environment, professional and efficient management of nutrition and counselling, and personalized care of everyone’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
I hope and pray every day for the eradication of the disease, but until then, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity that Access Life America has given me to serve and do my bit.
